PHCA Program Commitment & Expectations Clause

By enrolling in Powerhouse Cheer Academy (PHCA), athletes and guardians agree to the following terms and conditions. These standards are designed to maintain the competitive integrity and operational excellence of our programs.

1. Attendance & Mandatory Events

Success in cheer and dance is dependent on the full participation of every team member.

• Practice & Performance: Consistent attendance at all scheduled practices and performances is required.

• Mandatory Events: All Bootcamps, Clinics, and Choreography sessions are strictly mandatory. Missing these events disrupts the team’s progression and may result in a change in the athlete's roster position or category.

• Uniformity: Athletes must arrive in the designated practice or team gear. Proper footwear, hair, and grooming standards must be maintained to ensure safety and team cohesion.

2. Attitude & Conduct

PHCA maintains a "Culture of Excellence." Athletes and parents are expected to display a positive, respectful attitude at all times—both inside the gym and at external events. Bullying, unsportsmanlike conduct, or disruptive behavior from athletes or parents may result in immediate dismissal from the program.

3. Financial Commitment

• Fees: All competition fees, tuition, and specialized gear costs must be paid according to the established payment schedule.

• Fundraising: Participation in team and gym-wide fundraising is required. These efforts support the program’s operational costs and travel requirements.

• Non-Refundable Policy: PHCA operates on a strict non-refundable policy. This applies to all tuition, registration fees, competition fees, uniform deposits, and camp/clinic costs. No exceptions will be made for athletes who leave the program early or are dismissed for disciplinary reasons.

4. Cancellation & Opt-Out Policy

Should you choose to withdraw from the program, the following formal procedure must be followed:

• Written Notice: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Verbal notice to coaches or staff will not be recognized as a formal withdrawal.

• 30-Day Notice: PHCA requires a 30-day subscription opt-out period. Billing will continue for 30 days following the receipt of your written cancellation email. You will remain responsible for all fees incurred during this 30-day window.
